Hello, I’m Shannon Pagdon
I'm a researcher, consultant, and lived experience advocate with deep roots in the mental health field—particularly in psychosis, peer support, and systems transformation. I bring over a decade of combined experience across direct support, participatory research, policy, and training. My work centers equity, harm reduction, and non-coercive approaches to care, with a strong commitment to meaningful involvement of people with lived experience at all levels of decision-making.
In addition to consulting on peer support program design and evaluation, I specialize in qualitative and participatory research, creative and arts-based approaches to psychosis, and public speaking across clinical, academic, and community settings. I’m especially passionate about honoring historically neglected aspects of psychosis—like felt presence, visions and alterations of space and time, as well as meaning-making—and creating space for alternative narratives to be heard.
I draw on personal and professional expertise to support programs with integrity, imagination, and care.
Please feel free to reach out—I’d love to connect.
